Fundraising Concert: The Forbes Town and District Band will be holding a fundraising concert on the 17th of November, 2019. The concert will be held at the Forbes Services Memorial Club Auditorium and starts at 4pm. Tickets are $10 adults, $5 children and free for under 12 years. Come out and support your local band and listen to an afternoon of great music from local musicians.

Forbes Home Security and Safety Expo: The Forbes Home Security and Safety Expo, a partnership between Forbes Neighbourhood Watch, Forbes Shire Council and Bunnings, will be held from 10am on Saturday 19 October, at Bunnings Warehouse. There will be representatives of the State Emergency Service, Police, Fire Brigade, and Rural Fire Service in attendance, as well as practical advice and home security and safety tips from the experts. There will also be product demonstrations on home security products including cameras, lights, locks and safes, giving you the opportunity to see the products in action before deciding what is best for your home. Chemical Cleanout: The Household Hazardous Chemical Cleanout is coming up on the 17th of October between 1-4pm. Forbes residents can deliver household hazardous chemicals to the Forbes Council Works Depot in Bandon Street.
