Forbes Youth and Community Centre New Playground: Are you looking for the perfect birthday party location? Why not try the Forbes Youth and Community Centre. Soft fall has been installed and the renovations are now complete in the new playground. This project was funded by the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Grant and Forbes Shire Council.
Bus to Les Miserables in Parkes: Neighbourhood Central in Forbes is organising a bus to Parkes for the Les Miserable show on 6th October for the 2pm matinee for those who have no transport. Places are limited, call into the HACC Centre at 7 Harold Street to register for this trip.

Pool Opening: Dust off the swimmers Forbes as the Forbes Olympic Pool will open for Summer on Saturday 5th October.
Grazing Down the Lachlan: Wind and dust did not dampen the spirits of over 800 “Grazers” who enjoyed an amazing day out along the Lachlan River last Saturday, with amazing food and drinks by O Tama Carey the 2019 Creative Director.
